Jeerage Rice :)


Ingrediants:
1 cup basmathi rice (i used normal rice coz din have basmati)
1 tbsp butter or oil (i used oil and butter at last)
1/4 bunch coriander leaves
1 tsp fried onion (optional)
2 number gr chilli 1 tsp jeera/cumin seed
1/4 bunch mint (optional)
1 pinch safron color (optional)
salt to taste
2 cup water (for 1 cup rice, 1:2 ratio)

Method:
1. Soak rice for 40 mins.
2. Heat Oil and drop jeera. When they begin to splutter, add chopped green chillies.
3. Then drop mint (optional), coriander leaves and add 2 cups water. Add salt and mix well.
4. When the water comes to boil, drop the soaked rice. Drain the water from rice before this.
5. Cook on high flame till the water is absorbed for the rice. Then spread some fried onions (optional) over it and top it off with saffron water (optional).
6. Then close the lid and cook for another 5 mins in very low flame.
Then u get this real nice n fluffy jeera rice :))
