Bday Bonding @ Road Trip , Indiranagar

It was our Dear Billboard's birthday today and we decided to drop in for dinner and surprise the bday boy at Road Trip, Indiranagar. While Mrs. and Mr. Al-War's sat at a table for two (with the Mrs. peeping out the window every now and then hoping to catch sight of us) Zit,Gana,PK and myself walked in with cake and candles.

Road Trip is a surprising little place full of creative ideas with Motorcycle as its main theme.
Bike handlebars and Sprockets as door knobs, motorcycle headlamps lighting the whole place and amazing FOOOOOOOOD !!!
They serve excellant Italian and Continental dishes. We tried Crostini (garlic bread topped with assorted veggies and cheese)
and a baby corn deep fried thingy (don knw the name) for starters followed by Pasta, Veg Lasagna, Shashlik
(Chicken/Paneer with herbed rice and curry sauce) for Main course.
For the very first time in namma bengalooru I truly tasted an exceptional pasta dish with broccoli,sun-dried tomatoes n olive oil.
Service is quick and they are open to your suggestions and make changes to the dishes you wanna try.

Over a pitcher of chilled beverages for the boys; PK's infrequent dozing (due to 2 mug hangover :)) hehe ; ever-funny PJs by Billboard,Zit,Gana; shifting gears sorry i mean seats :) to accomodate our new mom-to-be Prathi (so she's comfy) and her left-handed Bday boy Hubby, we had the most amazing laid back meal at Road Trip.

Lastly, Dont miss a trip to the rest room to get a dekho of this funny poster over the thing-where-you-do :).
PK and I spent 3 mins reading this poster which again goes with the central bike theme. (too bad i din carry my cam to take a shot)

Website - http://mysite.valuebound.com/roadtrip/#
don go by the pics on the site as the antique bikes no longer decorate the place :(((
Food - Outstanding
Service - Good. Beer is the only alchoholic beverage served. Not sure if there's wine too.
Ambience - Down-to-earth and relaxed. Clean plates and seating. Open 7:30 onwards til eleven-ish (i guess)
Crowd - I was surprised to see a healthy mix of youngsters, office-goers and families all comfy in this small 50-seater restaurant. You may havta book the table if going in a large group.
Cost - approx 300-400 per person
