Gobi Pakodas For Youuu


This weekend i hpnd to see this recipe in a magazine while getting a pedicure :)). Memorized it and ran home to try it out :P Its pretty simple and u can also experiment with it. Its like a cross btw our normal bajji and bonda :)) Try it out !!!

Ingrediants: Serves 2

Gobi cut into florets (15 pieces) ittu
Kadle Ittu/ Channa Dal (1 cup)
Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
Chilli Flakes - 1/2 tsp
Coriander leaves (finely chopped) - 2 tsp
Garam Masala - 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Water to make a paste
Oil to fry

Method:
1. Blanch the gobi florets in boiling water and a bit of salt for 5 mins.
2. Mix Kadle ittu with all the masala, coriander leaves and salt. Add adequate water to make into a paste.U know guys it just struck me here tat instead of chilli and garam masala u can use the origano seasoning u get with pizzas. This may give it a different kinda flavour. So each time you order pizza save the chilli flakes and origano packets :)
3. Dip the florets in the paste and deep fry...aste. Press some tissues to remove excess oil.

Serve hot with ketchup and a steaming cup of coffee :P
